Aimee Lefkowicz has a single release that just came out recently and it bears a very beautiful soul and very up close and personal view of the songwriters style.
Aimee doesn't seem to hold much back on this new song and we like it that way.
The song is called "Through The Park" and it digs a little deep into her persona as it builds in heartfelt and very real performance and songwriting.
A young songwriter with a pretty amazing gift when it comes to recording songs that can make you forget everything else that's happening while it's playing.
Aimee says this about her song - "I wrote this song in the middle of the initial shutdown of the covid-19 pandemic in 2020. I was in a time in my life where I had spent a lot of time recovering from a relationship that was very taxing and the last thing I expected (especially in the middle of a global pandemic) was to somehow fall in love with someone who I never expected to from a distance. This story came to me right when I needed it and in the middle of the scariest and most uncertain of times, brought me complete happiness, love, and hope for the future. I think this is a song that a lot of people can relate to, especially after all of us having our own pandemic stories and ways that we stayed connected to each other in a time where we couldn’t even hug or hold hands. For me, it was a walk through the park, and for many others it was socially distanced calls, dates, graduations, parties, family gatherings, movies, face-times, and so much more. At its core, "Through the Park" is taken right from the moment where you feel yourself completely absorbed by another human, and all the beauty, fear, bliss, and anxiety that comes with surrendering to that feeling.”
