OCEAN COLOUR SCENE (OCS) are an English Rock band formed in Birmingham in 1989.
They have had five top 10 albums including a number one in 1997. They produced 17 top 40 singles and 6 top 10 singles.
Their first single and hit "Sway" was released in 1990 and is included in their first album (Ocean Colour Scene).
In 1995 OCS sent a demo to various stars including Noel Gallagher who invited the band to play with his band Oasis on their 1995 tour.
Their second album (Moseley Shoals) produced in 1996, containing 4 hit singles, reached N° 2 in the UK Albums Chart.
Their 3rd album (Marchin' Already) produced in 1997, went N°1 in the UK Albums Chart.
Their 4th album produced in 1999 (One from the Modern) peaked in the UK Albums Chart at N°4 with 3 top 40 singles "Profit in Peace", "So Low" and "July".
